Dr. Olivia Rose graduated from the University of Guelph with a Bachelor of Science
Honours degree in Nutritional and Nutraceutical Sciences. She then pursued and
completed four years of study and practical training at the Canadian College of
Naturopathic Medicine in North York. As part of her clinical internship, Dr. Rose
worked at the Sherbourne Health Centre in Toronto where she treated patients
afflicted with HIV and AIDS. Olivia is an advocate of healthy eating and regular
physical activity as a means to prevent and treat chronic degenerative disease.
She is also a certified personal trainer which allows her to incorporate her fitness
background when counseling her patients. Dr. Rose has also completed training as a
Doula and offers pre-natal and post-natal care. Special areas of interest include
chronic disease, chronic pain management, stress management, digestive health, and
fertility.
Dr. Rose integrates herbal medicine, acupuncture and Asian medicine, clinical
nutrition, lifestyle counseling, homeopathy and hydrotherapy when treating women,
men and children of all ages. She enjoys empowering her patients with the tools
necessary for creating optimal health and longevity and she believes that wellness
is not just the absence of disease but the creation of balance between mind, body
and soul.
Dr. Rose is registered with the Board of Directors Drugless Therapy-Naturopathy.
She is an active member of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors and
the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors.
