Balance = healing = health. Louise wanted to become a participant in helping people achieve their balance and improve their overall health. She graduated from Sutherland Chan School of Massage Therapy in 2003. On a personal quest to learn from the best she has worked together with Chiropractors, Therapists, Doctors and Physiotherapists and believes in the value and importance of cooperative health care. Louise has treated at Women’s College Hospital, CAMH, Scarborough General Hospital, and Markham Stouffville Hospital working with clients that have had catastrophic injury, spinal cord and head injury. She has worked extensively with all ages suffering from anxiety and depression and strongly believes that massage is an integral part of treatment for those living with mental illness. She has studied advanced Myofascial Release as well as Active Release Techniques and has taken courses in Cellular Matrix Repatterning. Louise has worked closely with clients living with a variety of Neurological issues, sports injury, post surgery, CP, MS, Alzheimers as well as treating clients with the “day-to-day” stresses and tensions of life. She works closely with her clients to fully understand their treatment needs. Louise feels that every client can achieve freedom from pain and chronic tension through treatment, personal participation and education.
